Empty Products & Recycling Programmes

Empty product posts are my favourite to read as I really do feel they give a good, honest representation of the product. Its very rare I get through a full tube, bottle or tub of a beauty product as I'm constantly indulging on new (and hopefully improved) products which most likely do the exact same thing as the last, but hey this can't just be me?
Here is a list of all the products I have ran out of the last couple of months. Some I would repurchase, others not so much.
Also keep an eye out at the bottom of the post for a few recycling programmes I know about...

EMPTIES

AVEDA SHAMPURE BODY LOTION - £24.00
If you have read some of my blog posts you will know I am a lover of Aveda. They're hair care products are my favourite (talked about in my 2016 Hair Care Favourites post). I also love the skincare range although body care...not so much. I didn't notice a huge difference in my skin. I have very dry skin and it just wasn't hydrating enough. I love a really rich body cream (like the Mango body shop one *heart eye emoji*).
I wouldn't repurchase this.

LUSH SNOW FAIRY
Every time Christmas comes along I always make the mistake of not buying the biggie of this stuff! I love Lush and I love what they stand for. Its my favourite brand for my toner and of course the iconic bath bombs which Isaac, Ben and I love. This shower cream is hydrating, makes you feel super clean and fresh and I love how the fruity fragrance of it lingers on you after you have showered. The comforter is my second favourite!
I would repurchase (when it comes back!)

MAC VOLCANIC ASH - £22.00
If you have dry/textured skin and your wanting a pretty abrasive exfoliate then you should try this one. I love mixing this with a little cleanser and rubbing this all over the skin in circle motions a couple of times a week for a deep exfoliation. It leaves the skin looking bright and smooth. Only downfall its black and gets pretty messy so I always use this in the shower! Go into your nearest MAC store and ask for a sample!
I would repurchase this.

ORIGINS DRINK UP INTENSIVE OVERNIGHT MASK - £20.70
I love using this after I have used my Clarisonic as its super thick and gives you instant hydration. Its a creamy texture and in the morning your skin feels smooth and glowy without it feeling to heavy overnight. It has an apricot scent which I find really calming for an evening. If you have dry/dehydrated skin I highly recomend this!
I would repurchase this.

BUMBLE AND BUMBLE THICKENING HAIR SPRAY - £22.00
I received a deluxe sample of this with a SpaceNK order and thought I would love it. Nope. It left my hair feeling crispy and stuck together. Boo.
I wouldn't repurchase this.

LUSH TEA TREE TONER - £8.95

This is probably the product I get through the quickest. Like I talked about in my 2016 Skincare Favourites this toner feels super clean on the skin and with its tea tree components its perfect for where I break out as its antibacterial. Its cheap, its cruelty free and a staple in my skincare routine!
I would repurchase this!

AVEDA DRY REMEDY SHAMPOO 250ml - £22.50
I always wondered why I would spend lots of money of makeup but never haircare. I have tried a few of Aveda haircare ranges and fell in love with all of them. They are expensive and most definitely something to save for, although I highly recommend. The difference in my hair condition since using better quality hair care is huge. I'm obsessed with Aveda (if you didn't know already!).
I would repurchase this.

KIEHLS CREAMY EYE TREATMENT with Avocado - £22.50
This eye cream is a goodie! I am always on the hunt for a super thick and hydrating eye cream and this is just that. Again as talked about in my Skincare Favourites this was of course included. Although I have my eye on the La Mer eye treatment next...that price tag though *rolling eye emoji*!
I would repurchase this.

RECYCLING PROGRAMMES

Lots of brands do recycling programmes which buy back your empty products in exchange for another free of charge product from there range. Here is a little list of some I know about. If you know any others please let me know in the comments - I'm a sucker for a freebie!

KIEHLS  Recycle and be rewarded -
